Nancy is strategically located in the heart of Western Europe, at the crossroads of the major north-south and east-west Eurocorridors.
The TGV Est European train line gives Nancy access to major French and European cities with greatly reduced travel times. Paris city centre is only 90 minutes away from the centre of Nancy, with 10 return trips daily between the two cities.
International airports at Luxembourg, Frankfurt and Paris (Charles de Gaulle) international flights to major cities all over the world. The Paris Charles de Gaulle airport is also directly accessible by train in 1hr10mn thanks to the TGV Est high speed link from the Lorraine TGV station.
The regional Metz-Nancy-Lorraine airport is just 40 km to the north of the city. It offers regular internal flights to the major French cities.
Nancy has a well-developed motorway infrastructure, with fast road links to Strasbourg and Paris (East-West axis) and to Luxembourg and Dijon, Lyon and Marseilles (North-South axis).
